It’s the 13th of June 2022: In the early hours of London Tech Week we have taken the main stage and incorporated our company. What goes down in history as the fastest formation of a legal entity is just the beginning. We are dedicated to keep the pace for all our next steps!
The mission of sign.online
Focused on small scale users sign.online offers the full workflow from contract creation to the legally binding digital signatures on a pay per use base. This way sign.online bridges the gap between big subscription based digital signature solutions and standard contract templates. We bring Estonian standards in document processing and digital signature workflows to the world – and to the next level!
The world record – and why Estonia?
The by far most digitally advanced society in Europe is the one of the small Northern country Estonia. Through their e-Residency program any human being can register and run their company there – remote by design. For a diverse cross-border team as ours – three founders from and in five countries – Estonia offers the perfect jurisdiction: An unbeaten level of ease of doing business and even a quite competitive tax system are the two big arguments for the Baltic state.
The founders: Dominik, Martin & Christoph
While Martin & Christoph actually first met through an event of the e-Residency program – a “Digital Nation Hackathon” on a remote Estonian island back in 2019 – Dominik joint the program just recently. Martin Nørgaard Gregersen, the CTO of sign.online, is a Dane living between Estonia and Germany. Christoph Huebner, the CEO & CFO, is a German digital nomad and resident of Portugal. Dr. Dominik Panosch, the CMO and the official world record holder, is Austrian. All three have been working together on different project for some years already. The passion for making things easier through digital workflows paired with the experience of digital signature handling in Estonia lead directly to the underlying ideas of sign.online
